and served as a private in the N.C. Troopsin CApt John LEEK'S Company,
Col MARTIN'S Regt.

March 1780, 6 months in Battle at Cross Creek

From Nov 1780, 6 months and was in the Battleof Guilfords Court House

From July 1781, 6 months in an expedition against the Cherokee Indians.
