HENRY FORDYCE





Born: Nov 12, 1744 Essex Co., New Jersey

Died: 1836-1844, Last payment of Pension was made Sept 15, 1836

Burial: Location unknown at this time, Franklin County, Indiana

Service: He enlisted sometime in Oct 1775
served in Capt Andrew MCMYER'S Co., Col William WIND'S N.J. Regiment.

Was in the expedition to Canada and the Battle of Three Rivers

He was discharged Nov 13, 1776

He re-enlisted Dec 1, 1776 and served at various times in the N. J. Militia
under Capt PATTEN and WHARTON in Col SCUDDER'S Regiment.

He was in the Battle of Elizabethtown and Connecticut Farms and
many "severe skirmishes" continued service until about Nov 1, 1781.

He later remarried, Phebe Woodruff.
