Was in the expedition to Canada and the Battle of Three Rivers
He was discharged Nov 13, 1776
He re-enlisted Dec 1, 1776 and served at various times in the N. J. Militia
under Capt PATTEN and WHARTON in Col SCUDDER'S Regiment.
He was in the Battle of Elizabethtown and Connecticut Farms and
many "severe skirmishes" continued service until about Nov 1, 1781.
