Service: During the Rev War he was living on Bush River in Ninety-Six
District South Carolina.
He was taken prisoner by the British and held from April to June, when he made his escape aand reached the army under command of General GREENE.
He volunteered and sreved from July 1780 to Sept 1780 as a private in Capt George DOCKIN'S S.C. Company.
Was in the Battle of Camden
Volunteered in Dec 1781 serving 6 months as a ranger in Capt Hugh LEATON'S (SEATON) South Carolina Company.
