Service: Enlisted at Redstone, Pennsylvania in Dec 1776 or Jan 1777

Served under Capt BELL (BEALL'S) 13th Regt commanded by Cols RUSSELL
and John GIBSON in the Virginia Line and in Capt James O'HARA'S Company.

In the Battle of Brandywine

Discharged about 1779

Proof: Soldiers sworn statement in Probate Record Book 2, page 306
Franklin County, Indiana Court House Brookville, Indiana dated Oct 3, 1820.

Name appears as private in Capt MOORE'S Co., 4th Battalion of Chester Co Militia 1783

Name appears on tablet in Rush County Court House
