Burial:

Service: Enlisted in Guilford, N CArolina in June or July 1777
served as private in Capt WM LYTLER's N C Co., and Col Archibald LYTLE's NC Regt

Was in the battles of Breir Creek and Stono and in an engagement about Charleston, S Carolina where he received several wounds.

Was discharged in Sept 1779

Later he served 9 months in Capt John RAMSEY's NC Company.

Proof: Enlisted near Petersburg, Virginia in 1779 or 1780
served as private in Capts LOVELEY'S, WILSON'S and COWARD'S Companies,
Col DAVIES', HAWES' and GREEN's Virginia Regt.

Pension: Claim S 36057.
