Burial: Old Baptist Seminary, Whitewater Twsp. Verifed by gravestones.

Service: While serving in Orange Co., NY, heenlisted April 10, 1776, and served as a sailor on board the schooner,"Olive Branch", under Capt Jacob SWIM. The schooner was captured by the British Oct 28, 1776.

Enlisted again April 12, 1778 as a private in Capt Van DUZER'S NY Company
discharged July 12, 1778

Enlisted May 15, 1779 as a private in Capt SMITH'S NY company., acted as guide to General WAYNE'S Army. Was at the Battle of Stony Point. Discharged July 22, 1779

Enlisted April 1, 1780 was under Lt DOW in the New York Troops, discharged Oct 1, 1780

Proof: Pension S 31928. Moved to Franklin Co., IN 1811 and received pension while living in Whitewater Twsp., 1834

Married: Elizabeth ______________ (1769-1843)
